Very yummy! Blackpink and other K-pop stars have been here in LA. The service is excellent, and I love that you don’t have to cook the BBQ yourself — they handle everything perfectly so you can just relax and enjoy. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the side dishes are fresh and plentiful. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a K-BBQ fan!

Celebrated my niece's bday here while we were visiting LA. Meat was superb and I like that it was the staff who cooked the meat Did not want for additional side dishes because there was a lot and they refill too. Went on a weekday so we didn't have to line up for tables. But if you're going on a weekend, beware of the crowd. Being an Army, this was a must-go-eat place for me!

The wait was long, but it was good! We went to a nearby bar while we waited for a table. The meat was good, but my favorite was the grilled intestines (Gopchang-gui) was the highlight. I know it sounds horrible, but it is SO GOOD! Fatty and so flavorful! Highly recommended! They actually grill the meat for you, just like I'm South Korea. This is a Korean Celebrity hot spot!

Been here several times over the years and recently the food quality isn’t as good. The meat tasted rough or unusual so had to dip it in salt more to cover up the flavor. Pork was a little watery too, usually means it’s been frozen a little too long. But overall I do enjoy coming here with friends and having a good time. Servers are attentive and friendly, very quick to get orders and refills in. Atmosphere is loud and welcoming.

Finally came to Ahgassi Gopchang on my latest trip to LA. My friends had been raving about it. We got there around 5:30 on a Sunday and only waited maybe 10–15 minutes for a table for 3. Loved looking at all the Kpop groups and celebrity signatures in the meantime. We ordered the large intestine bbq selection for 3 people, and it was SO GOOD. One of the best meals I’ve had recently. So nice that the servers help cook the meat — I would not have known when they were fully cooked. The banchan and sides are also delicious. Loved the steamed egg and cold broth. The intestine is so flavorful, chewy and succulent — barely needed the sauces. Toward the end, servers used the remaining intestines and fat to make fried rice. We were so full at that point, but it was so good. I legitimately can’t wait to plan another trip to LA just to go to Ahgassi again. For 3 people plus soju and including tip, we paid $172 ($57/person).

We often visit this Korean barbecue restaurant as a family, and one of the things I appreciate the most is that the staff does all the grilling for you, which allows us to sit back, relax, and really enjoy our meal together. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and in our experience, there has hardly ever been a wait. We usually go between lunch and early evening, and each time we’ve been seated right away with no delay. The tables are always well prepared in advance, with salt, sauces, and condiments neatly arranged, creating a welcoming start. A generous variety of side dishes is served immediately. I especially love the kimchi jjigae it has a slightly strong flavor, but the spice and richness make it incredibly satisfying. The steamed egg (gyeran-jjim) is also a favorite, with its fluffy, delicate texture. As for the meat, while some cuts can be a little on the firmer side, the wide variety ensures that the meal never feels repetitive. Paired with rice and side dishes, it’s always a filling and enjoyable experience. Whenever the spice becomes overwhelming, the sweet potato offered as a palate cleanser is absolutely perfect. The staff work quickly and efficiently at the grill, which gives the impression that they are always busy, yet attentive. Overall, the food is quite good and satisfying, though I feel there may be other places that could be even more impressive, so I look forward to exploring and trying different restaurants as well.

One of my favorite kbbq restaurants. Obviously with a lot of celebrities the food was going to be good but all the food was fresh, high quality, and worth the price. It is a bit more expensive than other kbbq restaurants but it’s definitely worth it. All the meats were really good so I don’t have a favorite but definitely get the fried rice at the end. The sides are not your “standard” banchan but they are really good so don’t be thrown off. Parking was paid but was fairly easy because it’s a lot inside next to the restaurant. Service was great and overall was great experience. The autographs were also cool and a cool thing to do while waiting for your seat. Definitely worth it.
